EXCITING NEW RELEASE FROM METROGRAFX!
I just received this demo version of FiberFactory from Jon Tindall
of MetroGrafx (creators of SPARKS, MotionMaster I&II...). Look
for the file "ffactory.lha" in the following location:
ftp: tomahawk.welch.jhu.edu
dir: pub/LW/incoming/utils
If this file indeed is intact, could someone a little more "net
savvy" spread it around to Aminet and such. I'm having more
than a little trouble with reliable Xfers.
About the program:
This program allows one to create all kinds of HAIR EFFECTS in
3D! Using a LightWave3D object as input, FiberFactory will
evenly distribute HAIR (actually a series of two-point
polygons) evenly on all the polygons. NOT just straight
hair, mind you, but curly, kinky, bendy, chaotic but user-definable,
hair! Awesome...
The Lha archive includes a short doc,
an example pic, and a version of software that allows
previews, but not saves of the resulting objects.
